Working Principle

The working principle of the GB Flange Ball Valve relies on the 90° rotary motion of the ball core driven by the valve stem, to realize full opening, full closing and precise flow control of the pipeline:

Full Open State

When the valve stem drives the ball to rotate 90° to make the through-hole of the ball completely aligned with the pipeline axis, the flow channel is fully connected. At this time, the fluid resistance is minimal, and the medium can pass through the valve body with almost no pressure loss.

Full Closed State

When the valve stem drives the ball to rotate 90° in the reverse direction, the through-hole of the ball is completely perpendicular to the pipeline axis. The ball core is tightly pressed against the valve seat by the pipeline medium pressure, forming a reliable zero-leakage seal, and the medium flow is completely cut off.

Flow Control State

When the ball is rotated to any angle between 0° and 90°, the effective flow area between the ball through-hole and the pipeline can be adjusted steplessly, so as to realize precise control of the medium flow rate and pipeline pressure, meeting the variable working condition requirements of industrial processes.
