Core Structural Components

Working Principle

The valve controls full opening and closing of the pipeline by rotating the ball 90° around the stem axis:

● Fully Open: The ball bore is fully coaxial with the pipeline flow path, allowing unobstructed fluid passage with extremely low flow resistance.

● Fully Closed: The ball bore is perpendicular to the pipeline flow path, with the ball tightly fitting the seat to completely block the medium and achieve reliable sealing.


Two core sealing structures are available for different working conditions:

● Floating Ball Structure: Under medium pressure, the ball floats slightly to press against the downstream seat, achieving self-tightening sealing. Higher pressure delivers more stable sealing performance, suitable for small to medium diameters and medium-low pressure conditions.

● Trunnion Mounted Ball Structure: The ball is supported by upper and lower trunnions with no radial displacement.
