GB Y-Strainers are essential core filtering devices in fluid conveying pipeline systems. The Bolaisi GL41W-16P GB Y-Strainer is commonly installed at the front inlet of key pipeline equipment such as pressure reducing valves, relief valves, constant water level valves and other control valves.
Adopting mature and optimized structural design, it boasts low flow resistance, excellent sealing performance, convenient disassembly & sewage discharge and stable operation. Internal filter screens are available in customized specifications to meet diverse filtration standards: 18~30 mesh for water filtration, 10~100 mesh for gas filtration, and 100~480 mesh high-precision screens for oil filtration. Working Principle
Bolaisi stainless steel GB Y-Strainers operate on the physical sieving and filtration principle, realizing continuous filtering through an automatic self-supporting structure with simple operation and easy maintenance.
Impurity Filtration Process
Medium flows unidirectionally into the Y-shaped cavity and passes through the inclined stainless steel filter screen at a steady speed. Solid impurities larger than the mesh aperture are trapped inside the screen via graded sieving, while clean medium penetrates the screen and is delivered to downstream pipelines to complete the filtration process.
Sewage Discharge & Maintenance Process
As impurities accumulate on the filter screen and gradually raise pipeline pressure drop, close the upstream and downstream control valves, then open the bottom valve cover or drain plug. The filter screen can be taken out for high-pressure cleaning, maintenance or direct replacement. After reset and installation, the strainer can be put back into continuous operation, ensuring time-saving and efficient inspection and maintenance.
