Working Principle

The core operating logic of the GB Flange Globe Valve covers three main working states, with detailed principles as follows:

Closing (Shut-off)

Clockwise rotation of the handwheel drives the valve stem to move downward, which pushes the valve disc to press tightly against the sealing surface of the valve seat, completely cutting off the medium flow passage. The sealing is realized by forced compression via mechanical force, delivering excellent and reliable sealing performance.

Opening

Counterclockwise rotation of the handwheel lifts the valve stem upward, driving the valve disc to separate from the valve seat. The medium flows through the valve seat orifice, and the pipeline is fully connected and conducted.

Flow Regulation

When the valve disc is lifted only a short distance, a narrow throttling gap is formed between the valve disc and the valve seat. The flow rate and pressure of the medium can be precisely adjusted by controlling the opening height of the valve disc.
